3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. cloves
3/4 tsp. ginger
confectioners sugar to coat after baking

Directions:

Combine first four ingredients in main bowl. Combine the 6 dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then add this mixture gradually to t;he first one. Form into round balls and place 2 in. apart on cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 min. (or a little less) at 350º. Roll in confectioners sugar while still warm.
