1-1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2-1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2-1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. All Bran cereal
2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. boiling water
Directions:
Directions:
400º, 20 minutes (approx) - Cream together the sugar and shortening. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Pour the cup of boiling water over the bran cereal and let cool. Add the eggs and buttermilk to the creamed sugar mixture. Add the bran mixture and the remaining dry ingredients. Mix well.

Batter can be stored in fridge for up to 2 months.
