4 c. mayhaw juice
5 1/2 c. sugar
1 box Sure-Jell

Directions:
Directions:
Wash & crush fresh mayhaws well. Put in pot and cover with water. Bring to a medium boil for about 10 minutes. Strain berries using a cheesecloth. In a large pot, combine the measured juice and add Sure-Jell, stirring constantly. Let come to a full "rolling boil" for just over a minute. Add sugar all at once and let boil again for another minute or two. Remove from heat skim foam from top, pour into sterilized jars and seal. Makes approximately 3 pints of jelly.
