2 cakes yeast
2 cups warm water
1 tsp salt
Flour
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 eggs (6 eggs for donuts)
1 cup cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Soak yeast in warm water. Add salt, and enough flour to make a sponge. Let rise 2 hrs. Cream shortening and sugar. Then add flour. Beat 2 eggs. Add cold water. Combine all and beat well. Then add enough flour to make dough. Let rise twice. Place in refrigerator.
