1 STICK BUTTER/OLEO
1 CUP SUGAR
1 CUP FLOUR
1 1/2 TSP. BAKING POWDER
3/4 CUP MILK
1 (29 OZ.) CAN SLICED PEACHES - OR 1 QT CANNED PEACHES

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter in 9 x 13 baking dish and place in oven until melted. In a medium bowl, mix sugar, flour, baking powder, and milk. Pour over melted butter, then pour peaches and juice over batter. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.

This came from the Fort Cobb Centennial Cookbook 1902 - 2002 -- If using fresh peachs use about 3 cup or more of peaches and about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 more cup of sugar.
