2 pkg stew meat
1 lg can tomatoes
1 large onion
carrots
small turnip


Dumplings
2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
milk to make thick dough

Directions:
Directions:
In large stew pot brown stew meat, season with lemon pepper and season salt. Add tomatoes, onions, sliced. Fill pot to ½ full with water. Simmer about 2 hours. Add sliced carrots and cubed turnips. Cook till they are done.

In separate dough, mix dumpling ingredients together. Bring stew to a boil, drop dumpling batter by large tablespoon into dough. Cover and cook 15 minutes. DO NOT PEEK!!

Once dumplings are done, thicken stew with a mixture of water and flour, pour slowly into boiling stew til desired thickness.
