2 sticks butter
2 c white or brown sugar
6-7 ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs
2-1/2 c sifted flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each. Beat in mashed bananas. Mix in dry ingredients only until flour is moistened. Do not overmix. Add nuts. Bake 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes
