This recipe is on the side of a box of JIFFY White Cake Mix. When I do this recipe with Cherry pie filling I follow it exactly.

1 can (1 lb 5 oz) cherry pie filling or your favorite fruit pie filling
1 pkg JIFFY White Cake Mix
¼ cup Margarine or butter, softened
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 340 degrees. Spread pie filling in an 8” square pan. Combine cake mix and nuts in bow. Add margarine or butter, and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of pie filing. Bake 45 – 50 minutes until golden brown.

When I do this recipe and use Apple Pie filling this is what I do.
Instead of White Cake mix, I use a Jiffy Yellow Cake mix. Before I put it in the oven I drizzle on more butter and Cinnamon and sugar.

When I use either the white cake or the yellow cake I normally add more pecans on the top before I put it in the oven as well.
