1 pkg. Yellow cake mix
½ cup of oil
4 large eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
¾ cup of sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
¼ cup of water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Put cake mix in bowl. Pour in oil and one egg, mix then add the rest of the eggs one at a time, beating after each egg. Add pumpkin, sugar and spices. Mix well, add water & mix well bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool before removing. No frosting. May be frozen.

This was a recipe that my mother-in-law would make at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have tried to carry on the tradition for my children and have passed the recipe on to them and my daughter-in-law makes it too! My son loves it and I usually make one just for him at Christmas and he usually eats the whole thing.
