Spinach
2 boxes frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (sliced)
½ tsp. allspice
¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
2 cups water
¼ cup lemon juice

Riz (Rice)
½ cup thin egg noodles
1 tbsp. shortening
2 cups rice
4 cups water
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté garlic and onion in a little bit of water. Add ground beef and cook until meat is browned. Add allspice, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Add spinach and water. Stir. Add lemon juice. Cook on high until liquid boils. Then, reduce heat and cook for approximately 45 minutes.

Sauté noodles in shortening. Add rice. Add water and ¼ tsp. salt. When mixture boils, reduce heat and cook on low for 20 minutes.

Spoon rice in plate. Add spinach mixture. Serve warm.
