2 lbs. ground beef (90% lean works well)
1 medium onion (chopped very fine)
1/3 cup chopped parsley (1/2 bunch)
½ cup bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. allspice
¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. lemon juice
¼ cup cold water

Directions:

Chop, wash and drain parsley well.

Mix the beef, onion, parsley, breadcrumbs and all the spices together. Add the lemon juice and water and mix well.

Form the meat mixture into the shape of hot dogs. Grill the meat for approximately 10 minutes.

I’ve never been to a Lebanese barbeque where kabob was not served. Kabob tastes wonderful with hummus and tabouli. The mix of spices work very well with the taste of garlic and lemon juice.
