"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Cut bacon in half (or thirds depending on the size). Wrap bacon around a water chestnut and secure with a toothpick (toothpick should be standing up straight so the appetizer can be easily picked up later). Place in a 9 x 13 baking pan and cook at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until bacon is cooked. Drain off grease.
