2 cups Sugar
1 cup light Syrup
1 cup water
2 cups unroasted peanuts
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp Soda
2 tsp. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water, cook slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage (238º). Add peanuts and salt. Cook to hard crack stage (290º) stir constantly. Remove from heat, add butter and soda, stir lightly. Our into well greased shallow pans.

Personal Notes:
When is starts to cool, I butter my hands and pull the peanut brittle until it is thin. I also use a buttered fork to pull it.

We like lots of peanuts so I use the whole package.

For a different flavor I also use 1/2 dark and 1/2 light corn syrup.
