1C light brown sugar
1C butter (2 sticks)
4C flour
1t baking powder
4T sour cream
1t baking soda
2 eggs
1t salt
1t nutmeg
1C black walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1) Cream butter and brown sugar together.
2) Add eggs, sour cream, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. Mix well.
3) Add baking powder and 3C of the flour. When completely blended, slowly add the last 1C of flour. Mix until dough is uniform.
4) Cover the dough and chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
5) Preheat open to 450º F and grease a cookie sheet.
6) Roll out dough on a pre-floured surface. Use a round cookie cutter to cut our the cookies. Careful lift and separate from dough and lay on cookie sheet.
7) Bake cookies at 450º F for 7 minutes or until a light golden brown.
