1 lb ground beef or stew meat
1 chopped onion
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Add:
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
16 oz. stewed tomatoes
1 can chili beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can tomato sauce
4 oz. chopped green chilies

Directions:

Cook in large pot for 1 hour on low/med heat. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and serve with corn muffins.

One of the Bybee family favorites is to serve chili over homemade scones. Top with shredded lettuce, diced fresh tomatoes, sliced olives, green onions, shredded cheese, salsa, and sour cream!
