Cake:
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
5 cups chopped apples
2 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
dash salt

Sauce:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 9 x 13" pan. Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Add eggs and beat. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Add to batter. Mix until combined. Add apples. Pour into pan and bake at 350º for 35 minutes.

For sauce, combine butter, sugars, and flour. Add milk. Boil until thick. Watch very carefully because it will burn easily.

Serve sauce warm over cake.
