1 pound of salted butter, melted
1 pound of sugar
1 pound of eggs, in shell
1 pound of flour
1 tbsp cardamom

Dust off the food scale...pre weigh your bowls. Weigh eggs in shell, in bowl, then start cracking...
Beat sugar, cardamom and melted butter in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, incorporating about 2-3 at a time. Slowly add your flour, mixing well. Preheat your krum kake iron. Do a few test runs. I have added water, in varying amounts, to this mixture. (Perhaps it depends on the atmospheric conditions?) This recipe can be doubled!
Serve with freshly whipped cream, we like a dash of almond extract in the cream, well as the sugar.
