4 oz Unsweetened chocolate squares
2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips (or 1 c and 1c peanut butter chips)
6 Tbsp butter
3 Eggs
1 cups White sugar
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Flour
2 T Unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Salt

In a double boiler melt unsweetened chocolate, 1cup of the chocolate chips and butter, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and cool. In a large bowl, whip eggs and sugar until thick and pale, about 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla and chocolate mixture. Blend well. Combine flour cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Gradually stir into the chocolate mixture. Fold in remaining chocolate chips (or peanut butter chips) Cover and chill overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll chilled dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 in apart. Bake 9-11 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Move to wire rack. Cool. May sprinkle with powdered sugar.
