1 pouch (1# 1.5oz) Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
1 T. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. butter, softened
1/2 t. almond extract
1 egg
1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
1/2 c. chopped sweetened dried cranberries
1 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, flour, butter, almond extract and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in almonds and cranberries. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4" thickness. Cut with floured 2" round cookie cutter. I use a small cookie scoop instead of rolling out. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 minutes or until edges are just turning golden. Sprinkle with sugar. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
