4 cups Pinto beans
8 cups water
3 cloves garlic
1 onion chopped
1 bay leaf
1 bell pepper chopped
ham hock
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a large pot and simmer for 4-5 hours or until beans are cooked. Make sure to cover beans with water at all times.
