¼ cup bacon drippings
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
½ yellow onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup flour
½ gallon whole milk
½ lb cod, boiled
½ lb scallops, broiled
¼ lb crabmeat, cooked
1 can chopped clams
5 medium potatoes, diced and cooked
1 cup corn
1 can of beer
2 Tbsp pickle juice
2 Tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp dillweed
1 tsp red pepper
dash nutmeg
dash season salt
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute celery, onion, and garlic in bacon drippings until onion becomes clearer. Stir in flour, cooking over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add 1 cup of the milk, stirring til mixture boils and is free of lumps. Add the remaining milk at medium-high heat. Stir til it simmers. Reduce heat to medium-low, and add remaining ingredients. Add seasonings to taste, reduce heat to low to serve.

This recipe I invented after watching a “Seinfeld” episode, featuring the Soup Nazi. I wanted to create a soup that made people want to sit down!
