1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cups light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. butter
2 cups peanuts (spanish, dry roasted, or regular)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Grease jelly-roll pan. In a 2 quart glass microwavable-safe bowl, put in sugar and corn syrup, stir until blended. Microwave uncovered on high for 3 minutes.
Stir and microwave for another 4 minutes.
Stir in butter, peanuts, and vanilla and microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes, or until it forms brittle threads (hardcrack stage).
Beat in the baking soda and immediately pour the mixture onto the prepared jelly roll pan.
Using a spatula, quickly spread out as evenly as possible.
Cool for at least an hour, then break into pieces.
Store in an airtight container.
Makes around 1 1/2 pounds.
