1 envelope dry onion soup mix
4 Tbsp sugar
1 cup of water
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over high heat while stirring constantly. Then reduce the heat to simmer for 20 minutes. Cool.

Once cooled, this sauce makes an amazing marinade for pork ribs or it may be used to baste pork or chicken in the oven. Also great as a finishing sauce.
