3 medium yellow squash
3 medium zucchini squash
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 cups herb stuffing mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook squash and onion in small amount of salted water until soft. Drain well. Add 1/2 bag of stuffing mix and all other ingredients. Mix well. Spread into a buttered baking dish. Melt 1/2 stick real butter in large skillet. Stir in remainder of stuffing mix. Pour over top of squash and bake for 30-40 minutes.
