1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 egg
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
vanilla
For Icing:
1 cup brown sugar
1 Tbs butter
3 Tbs sweet cream
vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, egg. Sift in dry ingredients. Mix. Roll in a ball. Roll out. Cut with cookie cutters...makes 40 cookies. Bake at350º for 10 minutes. Watch closely. Recipe can easily be doubled.
*If you just cut round cookies, you can put them together with icing: Just mix all ingredients together and spread between cookies.
