Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 sticks of real butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chops (12 oz) or 2 cups

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. Pour in vanilla and mix until well blended. Stir together flour, soda and salt. Slowly add to sugar mixture. Mix until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes in a 350º oven, just until light brown. Remove from oven, cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes then remove. Be careful not to overbake - they will not look done, but will continue to cook once out of the oven and will be soft and chewy. Two of these cookies and your favorite ice cream make delicious ice cream sandwiches.
