4 quarts sliced cucs
6 medium onions, sliced
2 cups chopped green peppers
3 cloves garlic (or less)
1/3 cup pickling salt
5 cups sugar
3 cups vinegar
1 1/2 tsp tumeric
1 1/2 tsp celery seed
2 Tbs mustard seed
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Put cucumbers, onions, peppers, whole garlic cloves, and salt in large container. Cover with crushed ice. Let stand 3 hours.
Drain well. Combine rest, and pour over cucumber mixture, and heat just to a boil (Don't boil!)
Put in jars.

I usually remove the garlic cloves before putting into jars.
