2 heaping tbsp. flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
dash salt
2 large cans evaporated milk
4 eggs (separate whites)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter
2 bags vanilla wafers
4 large bananas

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, mix flour and sugar. Then add egg yolks and can milk. Mix well. Cook on medium heat until thick, stirring constantly so not to burn. After pudding has thicken, remove from heat and add vanilla and butter.
While pudding is cooking, layer vanilla wafers and sliced bananas in large baking dish. Pour pudding mixture over cookies and bananas. Beat egg whites with a little sugar till stiff to make topping. Pour on top of pudding and brown in oven, being careful not to burn.
