1 c. shortening
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 c quick rolled oats
1 c. rice crispys
1 c. salted peanuts

Beat shortening, sugar, and eggs well add dry ingredients. Mixture will be stiff. Drop by rounded teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake at 375º
