2 (14 1/2 oz) cans of golden hominy, drained
1 4 oz cans chopped green chili peppers, drained
1 med. onion chopped (1/2 cup)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. chili powder
3 large cans of chicken, drained
1 (14 1/2 oz) can tomatoes, undrained and cut up
3 (14 1/2 oz) cans reduced -sodium chicken broth
1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
2 tsp. ground cumin
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro
Fat Free Sour Cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place hominy, chili peppers, onion, fresh garlic, garlic powder, chili powder, chicken, tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano, and cumin in a large crock pot cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 5-6 hours or on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Stir in cilantro. Garnish each serving with fat free sour cream, if desired. Makes 8-10 servings.
