Bread cut to top
3 c. scalded milk and salt
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread in pan. mix eggs, sugar and vanilla and add scalded milk and salt. Pour over bread in pan. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar. Bake 350º until firm.

Lemon sauce: 1 c. sugar
1 c. boil water
1 T. cornstarch
2 T. butter
1 1/2 T. lemon juice
salt
Mix and stir sugar, cornstarch and water until boil. Boil for 5 minutes and then add the rest.
