2 tablespoons brown sugar, divided
1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil.
Add the cider, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, salt, rosemary and thyme.
Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes or until meat juices run clear.
Combine the cornstarch and water until smooth; add to the skillet.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened.
Meanwhile, in another skillet, cook the apples, onion, butter and remaining brown sugar over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until apples are softened. Serve over pork chops.

Personal Notes:
Alternatively, once the onion/apple mixture is cooked, you can throw it in the food processor and puree it.
Then, throw it back in its' skillet, and add the cornstarch-water, and then pour the whole mix into the pan with the pork chops, and let simmer. This results in a yummy sauce/gravy that goes great served over the chops and any potato you might have fixed with it!

These are probably the best pork chops I've ever made!
