1 can (10 count) Hungry Jack flakey biscuits
2 sticks butter or margarine
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 raw sweet potatoes (fairly large)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon (or to taste)
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large baking dish. Peel potatoes and slice into 1/4 slices. Separate each biscuit into 2 pieces. Flatten each biscuit into an approximately 4" circle. Wrap biscuit around 2 potato slices. Slices will not be all the same size so adjust biscuit to fix and pinch top together. Place dumplings into the melted butter in the dish. Any left over potatoes can be placed between dumplings. Boil water; add sugar, salt and cinnamon. Stir until dissolved. Pour over dumplings. Bake at 325º for 45 to 60 minutes until golden brown.
