FOR 2 PIES (bottoms only)

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
salt
¾ cups shortening
¾ cups milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add shortening and combine.
Combine beaten eggs and milk and then add to flour mixture slowly until moistened and the right consistency for rolling. Do not add liquids all at once.
Roll to about 1/4 inch thickness.
