1 lb. ground beef
onion, finely chopped
minced garlic
1 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. garlic salt
pepper
2 T. tomato paste
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
14 oz. can tomato sauce
14 oz. diced tomatoes
1 T. sugar
4-6 c. chicken broth
8 oz. mini lasagna noodles, cooked
cottage cheese
shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beef and onion until no longer pink, drain. Add garlic and seasonings, saute for a min. Add tomato paste, cook another min. Add crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar and 4 c. broth. Bring to a boil. Simmer 5-10 min, stir in cooked pasta. If too thick, add more broth. To serve, place cottage cheese in bottom of soup bowl (you could also do a mixture of ricotta and parmesan cheese). Ladle the soup on top. Top with mozzarella cheese.
