1 8-oz. package American cheese slices
4 tbsp. melted butter
3 c. fine rye bread crumbs
4 c. sliced zucchini
1 onion,, sliced
3 tomatoes, sliced
½ c. finely chopped green pepper
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Pour melted butter over bread crumbs and mix thoroughly. Grease a 1 ½-quart casserole. Cut cheese slices into triangles. Alternately place layers of zucchini, onion, tomato, green pepper, cheese and bread crumbs in casserole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and top with bread crumbs. Cover and bake in 350º oven for an hour or until vegetables are tender.
