1 lb. Sugar
1 lb. eggs
1 lb. flour
1 lb. butter (not margarine)
1 lb. candied pineapple, 1/2 red, 1/2 green
1 lb. candied cherries, 1/2 red, 1/2 green
1 glass brandy (about 4 oz.)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. pecans
1 lb. blanched almonds

Directions:
Sift flour before measuring, cut up fruit, us part of flour to flour the fruit. Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs one at a time, creaming good after each egg. Add Brandy and flour alternately. Add vanilla, add fruit and nuts last.
Bake in tub cake pan (well greased and floured) 2 1/2 hours or longer at 250º Momma used brown paper in bottom of pan.
