1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sour cream
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 egg yolks
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 pie shell
Meringue:
3 - 4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and cornstarch, add butter, lemon juice and grated rind (as desired), milk and egg yolks. Cook (in microwave) until thickened. Then fold in sour cream and put in pie shell.
To Make Meringue: Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form, gradually adding sugar. Spread over hot filling, sealing edges, bake 7-9 minutes until meringue is golden. Cool before serving.
