Berry Sauce Ingredients:
2 ½ cups Berries – Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Raspberries, etc
1/3 cup sugar
Dash of salt
1 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice

Dumpling Ingredients:
1 cup flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
½ cup milk

Berry Sauce Instructions:
Combine first 4 ingredients.Bring to a boil; then cover a simmer for 5 minutes. Add lemon juice
Keep on stove over low heat for the dumplings.

Dumpling Instructions:
While berries are simmering,Sift dry ingredients; cut in butter. Add milk and stir just until mixed
Drop batter on bubbling berry sauce. Batter is enough for about 6 dumplings. Cover tightly and cook 10 minutes over low heat. DON’T PEEK
Serve warm - over ice cream or with whipped cream, is nice.
