1 German Chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1 stick butter
1 c. water
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
16 oz. whipped topping
caramel topping for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, eggs, butter and water together. Bake in a sheet cake pan at
350ºF for 20 minutes or until done. Let cool completely then cut into small cubes. Mix cream cheese with powdered sugar and cocoa. Add milk and whip until fluffy. Fold in the whipped topping. Starting with the cake cubes, line the bottom of the triffle bowl. Spread a layer of the filling, then repeat this until the bowl is full ending with the cream cheese mixture. Drizzle with caramel topping to garnish the top.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Triffles are lots of fun! Let yourself be creative. I've used red velvet cake mix
leaving out the cocoa in the filling mixture. Lemon cake mix is great, just use
some lemon juice in the filling. You can use your favorite candy bar crushed and sprinkled on top of each layer with chocolate cake mixes. Any instant pudding flavor with whipped topping folded in can be used as a filling.
