1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 stick margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla & pinch of salt
4 heaping tablespoons high grade cocoa
1 1/2 boxes of Ten X sugar

Directions:
In a pot on the stove, allow margarine to begin to melt over low heat. Drop in vanilla. Add in Cocoa and a very scant pinch of salt whisking to incorporate. Then, add Buttermilk and let start to bubble, on lowest heat. Remove from heat and add in one box powdered sugar. Then, add more powdered sugar as needed until good spreading consistency. Frost between each layer then frost sides and top.

Note: 1/2 cup of regular Milk and 1 tablespoon Vinegar can be mixed and substituted for Buttermilk.

To avoid crumbs, place dollops of icing in the center and in dots around the perimeter then connect the dots.
