4 lb country style spareribs
1 large onion
1 t salt
1 t paprika
1/2 t celery salt
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c vinegar
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 c catsup
2 c hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 450ºF.
Cut meat into strips; lay in roasting pan, flat side up.
(meat may be browned on the stove before adding to the pan)
Peel onion, cut in thin slices.
Lay over meat.
Put in oven; roast 20-25 minutes or until spareribs begin to brown.
Measure remaining ingredients into small saucepan; mix well.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce oven heat to 350º.
Pour sauce over meat; turn spareribs.
Bake 2-21/2 hours until tender, basting every 15 minutes with sauce.
