3/4 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
4 large shredded wheat soaked in 2 cups boiling water
4 c. 40% Bran Flakes
1 qt. buttermilk
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 c. flour
You can add dates, raisins, apples, dried apricots.....

Bake 400º 20-25 min.

Mix all ingredients together. Use cupcake/muffin pan.
This batter will stay in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks in a sealed container.
