4 tbsp corn starch
1/4 c soy sauce
3/4 c Wesson oil
2 lbs spareribs
1 green pepper, cut in about 1/4" squares
1 sm onion
1 c stock or consommé
2/3 c vinegar
1/4 tsp tobasco sauce
2/3 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in skillet.

Mix soy sauce and cornstarch together until smooth.

Brush ribs with mixture and brown.

Add green pepper and onion.

Cook until onion is about straw color.

Pour off all fat.

Add stock, vinegar, tobasco sauce, sugar, salt and monosodium glutamate.

Reduce heat and simmer until ribs are done.

15 minutes.
