1 3/4 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup soft shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. Pet milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside
In a large bowl mix shortening, vanilla, and sugar till fluffy. Add and beat in egg. Stir in 1/2 of the flour mixture, add Pet milk then remaining flour mixture.

Roll 1/8" thick cut out and bake
*Can sprinkle with sugar before baking or bake then cover with icing.

Bake at 350º.

Can use 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. Can also use regular milk.
