1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup green bell pepper
3 tbsp olive oil
1lb ground meat
2 cloves of garlic
tsp of italian seasoning
1/2 tsp of chili powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
salt to taste
cup and a half of water
3 6 ounce cans of tomato paste
cup Romano cheese grated
lb mozzarella cheese grated
lb cottage cheese or pint
12 ounces of lasagna

saute onion and bell pepper in olive oil in large sauce pan.

add meat
cook till no red

add garlic and salt

add water and tomato paste and other seasonings

mix well and simmer on low heat for half an hour

skim off excess fat as much as you can

9x12x2 baking dish

spread 4th of sauce on bottom add noodles mozzarella, and cottage cheese.

sprinkle grated cheese. complete each layer as before and then top with sauce and grated cheese.

bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
