2 cups unsifted All Purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup molasses or honey
4 - 4 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 pkg. active dry yeast
2 cups very warm water (110º)
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, combine white flour, dry yeast, & salt. Add water, molasses and butter. Beat with mixer about 2 min. By hand, gradually stir in whole wheat flour to form a stiff dough, Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover & let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size 1-1/2 hours.

Punch down; divide in half. Shape into 2 leaves and place in 2 well greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Cover; let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, about 1 hour. Bake in preheated oven at 350º 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans. Cool.
