2 c. diced ham
1 can corn
1 can cream-style corn
1 c. milk or half & half
2 15 oz cans chicken broth
1/2 c. diced onion
1 tsp. butter
salt, pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in med saucepan, add onion and cook until softened. add the rest of ingredients except milk.

Heat to simmer, sprinkle with salt & pepper to taste. Simmer gently 20 minutes to blend flavors. Taste for seasonings, add more salt & pepper if desired. Add milk or half & half, and return to simmer.

Serve with crusty rolls or fresh hot bread.

Having leftover ham to work with was the inspiration for this. This is really awesome if you have leftover corn on the cob to use instead of canned.
