1 package dry yeast
1 cup of warm water
6 cups self rising flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening Crisco
2 cups sour milk or buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix dry ingredients together, cut in shortening, add milk and yeast. Mix together well, cover and refrigerate until cold. Roll out on floured surface, cut into biscuits. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 450° for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
