1/2 cup quick cooking tapioca
5 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 cup prunes (optional, yuck)
1 cup dried apricots
1/2 cup dried cherries
1 cup seedless raisins
1/2 cup dried apple
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cinnamon stick

1 or 2 cups grape juice

Directions:
Directions:
Put tapioca in boiling water and stir.

Add the remaining ingredients (except the grape juice) and simmer until fruit is tender.

When the soup is done, add the grape juice.

Serve warm or cold.

I found my grandmothers recipe for Fruit Soup, which I loved growing up. Now I only try to make it at Christmas time and I've updated it a bit.
